About Us

“Vain trifles as they seem, clothes have, they say, more important offices than to merely keep us warm. They change our view of the world and the world’s view of us.”
~Virginia Woolf

The unbridled hues of wildflowers in a vase. The woody scent of burning camphor. The plaintive strains of a folk instrument. The coolness of traditional floor tile on a hot summer day. Lovingly cooked food in every season. If all these beautiful things can satiate and soothe four of our five senses, clothing is an offering to the fifth.

The largest organ in the body is skin. What you wear is closest to your chest after your emotions. Clothing becomes your identity. And clothing is a language. It invites wearer and viewer to explore authentic self-expression, cultural connection, love, life.

A child may seek to stand out, or be subtle or unobtrusive, or experiment with different clothing styles. Through clothing, we can help them embrace who they are.

"Beauty is not a luxury. It ennobles the heart and reminds us of the infinity that is within us."
~John O'Donohue
